Wild Alchemy Project

Join us for an inspiring fundraising event aimed at launching the First Mother Farms and The Summer Moon collaborative initiative to create an outreach and wellness program supporting Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). This program aims to inspire wellness, personal growth, and community support through yoga, horticulture, and self-care practices.

First Mother Farms, established in 2014, has been cultivating herbs and native weeds across Northern California. Their mission is to create healing experiences, spaces, and conversations that promote mental wellbeing and nonjudgmental introspection. They are dedicated to building a self-actualization community that is compassionate and supportive, especially for at-risk youth seeking freedom from fear of violence. Their services include equity-focused programming, capacity building, farm and gardening technical assistance, and strategic planning.

The Summer Moon, a team of imperfect humans, is committed to breaking down the status quo, not only within the yoga community but also in the wider context. They emphasize consistency and dedication on and off the yoga mat to co-create a more harmonious planet. Acknowledging their role as white owners of a yoga studio in a capitalist society on stolen Nisenan land, they courageously look within to uncover authentic connections and truths. The Summer Moon firmly believes that advocacy and yoga should not be separate, urging for self-awareness in the face of the multigenerational system of American oppression.

To support this transformative endeavor, we invite you to attend our fundraising event. The funds raised will be used to paint a mural symbolizing the unity and resilience of the BIPOC community. This mural will serve as a powerful visual representation of the program's mission, reminding everyone of the importance of inclusivity, wellness, and mutual support.

Let's come together to make a positive impact on our communities. By contributing to this fundraising event, you will not only help bring the mural, and garden to life but also support the establishment of a vital outreach and wellness program for BIPOC individuals, empowering them to thrive and express their creative genius freely.

Your generous donation will support supplies for a women's health herb garden, mural, and revolving fund to support BIPOC wellness access.
